As Managing Director - Investments with the Caudron Megary Blackburn Wealth Management Group, Tristan Caudron brings extensive experience in long-term investment strategies, as well as specialized knowledge in comprehensive investment planning.
Tristan is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant, and has also earned the designations of Accredited Asset Management Specialist, and a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor, enabling him to provide a wide range of financial services and counsel to clients. He was recently named one of the Top 1200 Advisors in the country and one of the top 4 advisors in Virginia by Barron's America's Top 100 Advisors (2014-2021). Tristan is a Wells Fargo Advisors Premier Advisor (2006-2021), a distinction held by a select group of Financial Advisors within Wells Fargo Advisors as measured by completion of educational components, business production based on either of the past two years, and professionalism. Additional criteria, including length of service, may also be used to determine recipients. He is also a charter member of the firm’s Directors' Advisory Council and has been recognized as one of top advisors in the DC area by Washington Business Journal (2012-2013) and Washingtonian (2015-2021). A DC-area native, Tristan attended Georgetown University and earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and psychology and a master's in business administration. His background in behavioral finance helps him advise clients on making sound financial decisions by understanding the factors that influence investors.
Active in the community, Tristan currently serves or has served on many boards and committees, including the Carderock Springs Elementary School Educational Foundation, Commonwealth Academy, the Campagna Center, the Leadership Alexandria Program Committee, and the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce. Tristan is also a 2008 graduate of Leadership Alexandria. Tristan and his wife, Melanie have four wonderful children – Will, Ben, Ryan, and Emma, ages 11-18 – and he spends much of his free time having fun with his kids, coaching their sports teams, and playing tennis, platform tennis, skiing, and cycling.
