As Managing Director - Investments with the Caudron Megary Blackburn Wealth Management Group, Tristan Caudron brings extensive experience in long-term investment strategies, as well as specialized knowledge in comprehensive investment planning.

Tristan is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant, and has also earned the designations of Accredited Asset Management Specialist, and a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor, enabling him to provide a wide range of financial services and counsel to clients. He was recently named one of the top 1200 advisors in the country and one of the top 3 advisors in Virginia by Barron's magazine (2014-2017). Tristan is a Wells Fargo Advisors Premier Advisor, a designation held by a select group of Financial Advisors within Wells Fargo Advisors as measured by business production, completion of educational components and professionalism. He is also a charter member of the firm’s Directors' Advisory Council and has been recognized as one of top advisor in the DC area by Washington Business Journal and Washingtonian. A DC-area native, Tristan attended Georgetown University and earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and psychology and a master's in business administration. His background in behavioral finance helps him advise clients on making better financial decisions by understanding the factors that influence investors.

Active in the community, Tristan currently serves or has served on many boards and committees, including the Carderock Springs Elementary School Educational Foundation, Commonwealth Academy, the Campagna Center, the Leadership Alexandria Program Committee, and the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce. Tristan is also a 2008 graduate of Leadership Alexandria. Tristan and his wife, Melanie have four wonderful children – Will, Ben, Ryan, and Emma, ages 11-18 – and he spends much of his free time having fun with his kids, coaching their sports teams, and playing tennis, platform tennis, skiing, and cycling.

 
 
Matt Megary

Matt Megary is a Senior Vice President–Investments of Caudron Megary Blackburn Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors. With more than 20 years of financial investment experience, Matt advises clients on strategies 
designed to grow and preserve their assets through investment planning and personalized investment management. 

He received his BA in Economics from Rutgers University, where he also served as Team Captain of the Men’s Cross-Country and Track and Field teams. In addition, he received his MBA with a concentration in Finance from The Johns Hopkins University.

Before joining Wells Fargo Advisors, Matt was the Director and Regional Executive of Deutsche Bank's Washington, DC region. He was responsible for the region's regulatory supervision as well as its financial success. Prior to taking over Regional Management responsibilities, Matt headed various Product and Services groups at Deutsche Bank including Investment Analytics, Mutual Funds and Retirement Plan Services.  In addition, he served on Deutsche Bank's Global Third Party Investment Committee and Recommended Mutual Funds Committee.

Matt and his wife, Betsy live in Potomac, MD, where they are active in the community and busy keeping up with their two sets of twins, Emma and Jackson and Kate and Tess. In his spare time, Matt enjoys running, cycling, and triathlons.

 

Laurie Blackburn,CFP®

With over two decades of experience in the practice of investment and wealth management, Laurie focuses on helping her clients to build, manage, protect, and transition their wealth. She also advises local foundations and endowments on the management of their investment assets and investment policy. Although she is not currently a practicing attorney, her legal background and training give her an ability to identify for clients highly specialized issues of concern.

Originally from Kansas, Laurie received both her Bachelor of Arts (English and history) and Juris Doctor degrees at the University of Kansas. She practiced law in Austin, Texas, for six years before moving to Alexandria in 1995, at which point, like many other attorneys, she decided to utilize her legal education in a non-traditional field, and began working in the financial services industry.

Laurie earned the CFP® certification by completing an approved educational program, passing rigorous examination, and meeting stringent experience requirements. CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Practioners are coaches and problem-solvers who provide personalized investment planning services to clients. CFP® professionals have completed extensive training and testing in eight principal areas of knowledge: Professional Conduct and Investment Planning; Tax Planning; Retirement Savings and Income Planning; and Estate Planning. CFP® practitioners understand the complexities of the changing financial climate and are committed to making the highest ethical and continuing educational standards.

Laurie’s extensive community involvement has included Goodwin House Foundation Board, Senior Services of Alexandria board, Westminster Presbyterian Church Foundation board, Washington Area Women’s Foundation Finance Committee, At Home in Alexandria Advisory Council, Volunteer Alexandria board, Alexandria Economic Development Partnership board, Leadership Alexandria, and United Community Ministries board.

Lori Polonsky has worked in the financial-services industry for 25 years and has been associated with the team since 1997. She began her career in 1991 as an administrative associate at StockCross, Inc., in Boston. She later served at Davenport & Co., and A.G. Edwards & Sons, before joining the predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors. Lori has been named a Distinguished Service Professional from Wells Fargo Advisors, based on exemplary service and professionalism to clients, advisors, branches and the firm.  Lori earned a bachelor’s degree in management from Suffolk University, and she holds Series 7, 9, 10, 63 and 66 certifications.  In her spare time she enjoys outdoor activities including cycling, running and hiking and also going on active vacations

 

 

Jessica Jackson

Jessica Jackson brings almost 20 years of financial services experience to the Caudron Megary Blackburn Wealth Management Group. She joined Wells Fargo Advisors in 1998, after completing a college internship with the firm. Prior to joining the Caudron Megary Blackburn Wealth Management Group, she served as a registered account associate at UBS and RBC Dain Rauscher. Jessica has been named a Distinguished Service Professional from Wells Fargo Advisors, based on exemplary service and professionalism to clients, advisors, branches and the firm.  Jessica is a graduate of Richard Stockton College in Pomona, New Jersey, with a bachelor’s degree in finance. She maintains her Series 7, 63 and 66 securities registrations. Jessica is married to Kevin Jackson, and they have two children, Marley (9) and Chase (7).  In her spare time – although there isn’t much – she helps her husband with their Crossfit Gym and runs the kids to all of their sporting events.

JoAnne began her career in the financial services industry over 30 years ago.  She had previously been affiliated with a Wells Fargo Advisors team in McLean, VA and joined the Caudron Megary Blackburn Wealth Management Group with an extensive background in client services and experience with the client management and investment trading systems. She holds Series 7, 63, 66 and 31 securities registrations, as well as annuity, life and health insurance licenses. In her spare time, JoAnne enjoys family time with her husband Dale and their three children – Matthew, Alexandra and Sammy.  Favorite activities include attending her children’s basketball, baseball, track and tennis matches, running and hiking.  She is also pursuing additional studies for her bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies through the University of Virginia.

Laura Newton entered the securities industry in 1982 with Shearson/American Express and continued in the business for the next 16 years. She has been with the team since 2006, and specializes in onboarding new clients. Laura attended Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana.  She lives in Alexandria with her husband Dave, who served in the US Coast Guard for 26 years, and her 18-year-old daughter, Jennifer.  In her spare time, Laura enjoys working out, traveling and spending time outdoors



 

 

 
Lichelle Yalung

Lichelle Yalung began her career with Wachovia Securities, one of the predecessor firms to Wells Fargo Advisors, in 2000. Lichelle is responsible for creating and implementing all team events and seminars, as well as all administrative, operational and service-related matters for the team. Lichelle attended Marymount University where she studied Business Administration. Lichelle lives in Maryland with her husband Raymond and three children – Aaron, Alyssa, and Aldrick.
